I'm a pretty new player on brave frontier and have found this subreddit really helpful in learning the ins and outs of the game and getting my bearings. One of the biggest challenges of being F2P is having enough gems for Rare summons... unit expansions.. etc. In my searches for ways to legitimately get gems, I found the app FeaturePoints which gives you on average 50-100 points which you can redeem for iTunes or Amazon gift cards.  To download the app just go to FeaturePoints.com in your mobile device browser and install the app.  It takes 3000 points to get a $5 card.
